Our Story

The idea for this doll began when I was diagnosed with D.C.I.S. As part of my treatment, I underwent a surgical procedure for my disease. Through my struggles and curiosities, I found that there was a need for better patient education tools for those diagnosed with breast cancer.

With support and guidance from my breast surgeon as well as my plastic surgeon Vicky is very detailed in how the surgical procedures are shown on her. Vicky has been shown around the world as well as at the National Consortium of breast centers conferences since 2000. I designed and personally created a "patient education doll" known as Vicky Victorious™.

Vicky is designed to demonstrate both the pedicle tram and the free tram flap procedure...

...the Latissimus Dorsi procedure…

...as well as the Mastectomy Implant.

This doll can be used to demonstrate to a patient the pre-surgical anatomy, the actual procedure, and the post-operative anatomy.

A portion of the profits from the sale of Vicky Victorious™ is donated to the New Hampshire Breast Care Foundation.
