This video is designed to help newly diagnosed patients, their family members, and friends deal with what lies ahead in a more non-stressful way, to help them recover faster and better. You will meet two breast cancer survivors, Sue Joseph and Wendy Winslow. They will talk about their experiences from the day of diagnoses to the after effect it had on them. You will meet Wes-Lee Garon, who is a licensed nursing assistant as she helps Sue during her hospital stay. You will meet Victoria Blight who is a Nurse Practioner, she will guide you through the pre-op and post-operative periods, discussing expectations and tips for recovery. You will also meet Dr. Bruce Topol, a reconstruction surgeon, who will talk about the four surgical procedures offered to mastectomy patients. And you will hear from Wendy's family members, (Meredith, Gregg, Rachel Burklund) on how this effected them and what they did to help.
